Dearest Friend

    You will no doubt think I have forgoten my promise for sure but no I have not forgoten it or never will I am going to write you a letter next Tues so you will get it Friday I never got your letter untill yesterday (Thurs) evening.
    Went to the dance last night at the hall Bill Moore got it up there was only four girls there and they would not come in so it was a failure will tell you more when you come home
    You need not worry about not having a fellow for I am going to board at home and drive it morninig and evening so you see I will still be yours
    I was up at Harlem today but the man was not at home will have to go back Monday school commences Wednesday guess I will only take a one year course in Normal think I can get the license then I mean license to teach ha' ha"
    well Bob got pretty mad at me for leaving but I just told him what I thought of him and let "her slip"
    Warner wants me to go with him to the Minerva fair dont know if I will go or not guess I will "keep all" for the Carroll Co fair when you will be with me the more I think about you comeing home the sooner I want you to come for I am getting awfull lonesome for to be with you and do as we often have done say Kid I can allmost feel you in my arms now and oh gee that kiss from your lips nothing is more pleasant to me that is the reason I want to meet you at the train so I can have the first Kiss so please let me meet you
    There is going to be a moon light picnic next Wednesday night over by harlen wish you was here to go with me.
    Well as I have said all I know I will bring this to a close and go to bed Hope you are better by this time. dont forget about meeting you at the train

Dearest Friend.

    I am sorry that you dident get my letter last week but when you get it it will explain why. I got your card this evening "Rules for Sweethearts" well say kid them pictures on that card makes me homesick to see you Oh I long to fold you in my arms and press my lips to yours not fold you like Uncle Charley says in the comfort I will send you the piece
    I started to school this morning there were 17 on roll 4 of which I knew so it was not so lonesome there will not be much done this week as the professor has not got the books yet
    The moonlight picnic was called off tonight dont know when they will have it hope they dont have it untill you come home.
    I did not go to Akron last sunday changed my mind If I would of went would of been awfull glad if you would of come it would of done me a wourld of good.
    For fear you did not get my last letter I will say one think that was in it I want to meet you at the train by all means it will be no inconvenience to me whatever it will be a pleasure
    Well I must close and study my lessons for tomorrow it is now 10 min till 9.

P S Will see what we can do to the "Rules for Sweethearts" when you come home for you are my Sweetheart Pleas dont think me silly or I might say crazy. Pleas dont apply for the situration that I have marked unless you want to break my heart.
