Well here
I am again writing to you

will go to town Saturday and get my picture taken if nothing happens

home again Sat evening so you know I dont go to see no other girl

Grace has called breakfast so I will have to
close for this time Hoping to hear from you soon and take good care of
your self for that is what I am doing

My Dearest Friend
This
pleasant evening finds me with pencil in hand to write an answer to
your welcome letter which I recieved last evening
I was at
home last sunday they had company Inez Allen
was there from Minerva and such a time. She is a regular circus and I
guess she can play on the piano to. we played some
togather she played the pieces and I chorded say it sounded fine then I
took her to town Sunday night of course I done it to save the old man a
trip now dont get jealous kid for I think she is going
to be married soon so you see I couldent stay with her or dident any
how I believe I could of if I would of wanted to but my thoughts were
of You she was asking all kinds of questions about you where
you was and all such like said she had seen you in Minerva several
times I think she is a fine girl
I heard
last week that Ruth was married of course I
dont know how true it is but I hope she is not for I think she is to
young to realy know what is best for her dont you think so?
if you get a letter that sill settle it time will tell
Grace has
something to write to you but she has gone to Gregg's so she will have
to write in the morning
I dident
go to town Saturday for I was sick all day
but worked untill noon then went home am now all right I will get my
pictures taken before long and will surely send you
one.
if you
come home next month you will be in for the
Chitawqua wont you it is the second week in August you let me know and
I will meet you at the train if you come in on the night
train of course I could not go in the afternoon unless it would be on
Sunday and I dont suppose it will
as I have
no girl to go and see guess I will go home
saturday evening for there is no place like home. I dident know that I
could write such fine letters you must not flatter me to
much guess your about as good if not a little better.
will
finish this in the morning for I can hardly hold my eyes open Good

I am again they are talking of having the festival in about two weeks

message safe and sound. ha! ha! and will
say that when John pop's the question I am afraid you will have a lot
of sewing to do for yourself and family ha! ha!.

Dearest Augusta.
This
pleasent evening finds me writing to my best and dearest friend
Last
Saturday evening while in town I was treated to a
great surprise while in the picture show someone called me by name and
I walked over, who do you suppose it was it was another
girl that I Love as dearly as you but dont worry for it was my own dear
sister Florence, she is home for two weeks. I gave her your address I
suppose she has wrote to you. we are going to Aunt Mary
Lotz' Saturday afternoon if nothing happens
The
festival is going to be the 31st so you come when
you said you will be in for it if you wish me to meet you at the train
I will gladly do so you can write and tell me just when
you will come it will be no bother to me but lots of pleasure for I go
to town nearly every Fri night anyhow
what do
you think kid I had a runoff to day did not
get hurt any outside of a few little scratches will tell you all about
it when I see you
Chitaqua
is from the 7th to the 17th gee wish you
could stay and go with me for it will be so lonesome without you cant
you stay a few days? This week will about finish up our
harvesting and I wont be sorry at all

Every
body has been in bed for over 1/2 hour so I will have to close for this
time

you. second best ha ha
