Dear Friend.

Well there is one fellow in Union Township that I feel bad for and that is Bill Moore, wanting a girl to go with him to the dance then to say what she did. why that is awful just think of her and Bill going to Columbus dont think there is any danger do you? ha! ha!!

I would like to know who that person was that you would liked to of taken a buggy ride with that Sunday evening.

How was Endeavor Sunday night? I was sorry that I dident get to go I thought it was going to rain and I was just a little bit sleepy too. I suppose Will T was there, wanting to call on you. he was asking me Saturday how the boys and girls were geting along. had a notion to tell him "better than when he was around".

How would it suit you to go to Palermo Sunday night? I heard that they was going to have something great over there. If they dont we can go to League. dont expect I will be at church Sunday you can let me know through Saturdays mail.

Oh gee. I am as sore as an old race horse have been working the roads all week. run the scraper today, told the men if I got my neck broke all I would ask them to do would be to bury me. Jo Booth said if I got killed they would take care of you now what do you think of that. I havent got a minute's rest since I commenced to work.

Every body has gone to bed but me and I guess I had better go too

I suppose you will have some other young fellow stepping in Sat. night ha! ha!! as for me the bed will see me in good time. Wishing you Good night and sweet dreams I still remain

Your True Friend.

HSH.

PS. Hope you can go Sunday night. H.
